The Truth

The Truth

It whispers to your soul
Only to fall on deaf ears
The masks to hide behind are many
Concealing it from sight
It shivers down your spine
Blissfully ignored
Gnawing, nibbling, consuming, corroding
Entering your essence, The Truth

No more, the tried and trusted tricks falter and fail
Nowhere to hide
The mirror cracks then disintegrates
Agony, abhorrence, illusion, frustration, resistance
Laid bare in pools of tears
Only now is there space
Acceptance, relief, realisation, light, balance, alignment,
To centre stage

Disbelief at the once blind chameleonic tenacity
Masterful in its omnipotence
Rendered inept
Revealing the pearl of innocence
Buried beneath the many tales told

Entering your essence, The Truth
Centring, aligning, connecting
Defences breached
To nourish the roots
